Incumbent is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and utilization of PolyVision technology products. The Education Consultant works directly with the Regional Sales Manager and Territory Managers to communicate and perform follow-up activities with end-user customers of PolyVision products.
Primary responsibilities include:
· Proactively develop prospective and current customer awareness of PolyVision’s classroom products.
· Work closely with Regional Sales Manager and Territory Manager to develop and execute a sales plan for assigned geographic area to achieve agreed to margin and revenue targets by product family and by channel partner.
· Assist in growing assigned territory by establishing relationships and uncovering new opportunities and training needs and sharing information with the Reseller Sales Representative assigned to the same territory.
· Mentor teachers and administrators in the utilization of best practices. Guide teachers in lesson plan conversions and solution optimization.
· Contact by phone or in person customers who have purchased PolyVision products to ensure customer confidence and full implementation and integration of the product in their classroom.
· Effectively manage Company resources to ensure that customers' needs are fulfilled.
· Conduct and organize ongoing training sessions for all resellers.
· Conduct and organize regionalized training sessions for customers.
· Manage and orchestrate effective sales and marketing activities working with the Territory Manager, corporate Marketing personnel, and reseller partner to include regional/local conferences, road shows and events.
· Contact and coordinate customers to present at regional conferences – maintain list of potential customers and possible presentation options.
· Assist and coordinate the development of customer sites for tours of best practices, places to conduct customer demonstrations, and hold regional training sessions.
· Effectively customize presentations and demonstrate PolyVision’s educational products to a variety of audiences.

Required Skills and Experience:
· Minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience in a K-12 environment with mastery of methods of lesson and assessment design.
· Strong interpersonal communication skills required. Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers at all levels.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize work to meet established deadlines.
· High activity level, a positive attitude and an ability to effectively engage customers and partners at all levels.
· Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and people skills.
· High energy and positive disposition with orientation of achievement.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Technology-oriented individual with effective mastery of graphic type software, internet research skills, Office products and Outlook, and proficiency with MAC and PC platforms.
· Must be a self-starter and detail oriented, requiring minimal supervision.
· Must have knowledge of using or ability to learn relational database software (CRM).
· Must have ability to develop and deliver multimedia presentations in varying environments (e.g., small and large groups, tradeshows, workshops)
· Ability and willingness to travel approximately 80% of the time, for extended periods of time, as required, to successfully perform assigned tasks.
