MIKE DUNN TO ASSUME LEADERSHIP ROLE AT VECTA
A message from Mike Love, president, Steelcase Design Partnership:

“To help provide our customers with a better experience in meeting, learning and teaming environments, I’ve asked Mike Dunn, president of PolyVision, to also take on the leadership of Vecta,” stated Mike Love, President of the Steelcase Design Partnership.

Although these will remain two separate companies, Dunn’s dual role will make it easier to leverage each organization’s strengths to produce integrated solutions. In other words, it helps Steelcase Inc. bring together the wall plan and the floor plan: PolyVision brings expertise in visual communications, while Vecta has a strong market presence in conference seating and tables.

Bringing two companies under one president doesn’t automatically deliver an improved customer experience. The power of this integration will come from changing the way products are conceived and developed. Experts from Vecta and PolyVision will work together to research, formulate and bring to market solutions that transform the experiences taking place in meeting and training rooms. These solutions will address the needs of corporate, higher education, health care and government customers.

“Mike has been an innovative and visionary leader at PolyVision and I’m confident in his ability to handle this larger role,” Love stated. “He will rely on the very capable management teams already in place at the two companies. Mike Zubor, currently vice president of Sales for Vecta, will also take on the title of general manager and will be the ‘officer on deck’ for day to day issues.”
