PolyVision Announces New RoomWizard™ Firmware Release
Key enhancement enables facility managers to maximize room utilization

Suwanee, GA (October 12, 2006) – PolyVision Corporation, a Steelcase Company (NYSE:SCS) and the world leader in visual communication products, today announced the general release of the new version of firmware for RoomWizard, a system of web-based interactive signs for room reservation. The release includes rich new features and product firmware advancements, all designed to enhance the RoomWizard user experience of making room reservations and managing reservable spaces.

Among the key enhancements made to the RoomWizard firmware is a feature that allows facility managers to activate a Start Button on the RoomWizard sign, which forces users to start their meeting within an allotted time, or lose their reservation. This new feature was a key customer request to help cut down on “phantom” meetings. If a user shows up legitimately late, they can re-start their meeting if no one else has grabbed the room in the meantime. The Start Button feature helps facility managers maximize room utilization and make the most of expensive corporate real estate.

Additional enhancements in RoomWizard version 3.1.8 include:

Improved Network Performance: Superior group view display speed allows large RoomWizard groups to be quickly viewed from any web browser.
Automatic Disk Repair: Release 3.1.8 automatically performs a disk scan for errors prior to upgrading and repairs any errors upon reboot.
Manual Network Speed Setting: Network speed now can be changed between 10BaseT and 100BaseT manually on the RoomWizard front panel, simplifying the user experience.

Customers currently using RoomWizard in synchronized mode with Microsoft Exchange must download an updated Microsoft Exchange connector to communicate with RoomWizards on version 3.1.8. The updated Microsoft Exchange connector is provided by PolyVision technical support experts.
