POLYVISION EARNS UNIVERSITY BUSINESS’ SHOW-STOPPER AWARD
Industry’s Only Walk-Up-And-Use Interactive Whiteboard
Wows Judges at EDUCAUSE
Atlanta – (Dec. 1, 2003) –
PolyVision Corporation, the worldwide leader in visual communication products
and a Steelcase (NYSE: SCS) Company, was presented a highly regarded University
Business Show-Stopper Award for its Walk-and-TalkTM Presentation
Series interactive whiteboard as one of the best higher education technology
products debuting at EDUCAUSE this year.
The Walk-and-Talk is the industry’s first walk-up-and-use interactive
whiteboard with an intuitive remote and was recognized, out of nearly
194 exhibits, as a top product in the “Presentation” category.
The Show-Stopper Awards acknowledged 28 software, presentation, computer
and document management products and services as the best higher education
offerings for 2003. University Business recruited an undercover
panel of 11 judges, all higher education technology administrators who
are also key technology decision makers, to walk the exhibit floor, visit
vendor booths and try out products. The award-winning products were deemed
exceptional and worthy of serious consideration for purchase within higher
education environments by the judges.
“The Walk-and-Talk interactive whiteboard is a terrific example
of our new-point-of-view strategy of developing products for the higher
education market that you can walk-up-and-use,” said Michael H.
Dunn, PolyVision president and CEO. “The Show-Stopper Award reinforces
PolyVision’s vision for the next generation of learning.”
