Introduces Webster 3.1 Software
Atlanta– January 7, 2003 – PolyVision Corporation, a
subsidiary of Steelcase Inc. (NYSE:SCS), and an international manufacturer
of innovative visual communication products, today announced the
availability of Webster 3.1 software.
Webster 3.1 provides a single software solution for the entire
Webster suite of interactive products including touch sensitive
and laser tracking interactive whiteboards, plasma displays, and
rear projection units. New features include: improved resolution,
increased speed, direct e-mail capabilities, real-time playback,
communications port sharing, and a library of backdrops such as
maps, sports fields, and graph paper.
The updated snapshot command also allows users who simultaneously
project and write on their board to capture both written notes and
a projected image simultaneously.
Webster interactive products elevate group dynamics to a new dimension
by enhancing learning and communication, improving productivity,
and increasing group collaboration.
The Windows version of Webster 3.1 supports Microsoft Windows 98,
ME, NT, 2000, and XP. The Macintosh version supports OS 8.6, OS
9, and OS X.
Webster 3.1 is now shipping with all Webster products. For existing
boards, users may download the software from PolyVision’s
website for no additional cost at http://www.websterboards.com/support/downloads.html.
