The ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) has certain requirements to support the visually impaired for permanent building signage. These requirements include things like raised letters, certain point size for typefaces and Braille accompanying any critical words/directions.

The question is to what extent a display is a permanent building sign. An outside law firm cited conversations with an Administrative Law Judge, stating that the ADA requirements for the visually impaired do not apply to RoomWizard because a display of this sort does not constitute permanent building signage. A display, by its very definition, contains dynamic information -- therefore, it's not permanent.

In order to support the visually impaired to the extent possible, RoomWizard can accommodate a Braille sticker indicating the name of the room on the aluminum below the touchscreen.
