Whatever the environment, PolyVision’s durable tackboards work in any space. We offer a range of surfaces to choose from and our tackboards come with the industry’s only Ten-Year Workmanship Warranty. There is a variety of colors and textures to choose from; ask your PolyVision representative for details and samples. Tackboard Panel Options 1/4” Natural Cork laminated to 1/4" Hardboard. 1/8” Natural Cork laminated to 3/8” Fiberboard. 1/4” Colored Cork laminated to 1/4” Hardboard. Vinyl/Fabric laminated to 1/4” Natural Cork laminated to 1/4” Hardboard. Vinyl/Fabric laminated to 1/8” Natural Cork laminated to 3/8” Fiberboard. Vinyl, Fabric laminated to 7/16” Fiberboard.

Size Options
Any standard (nominal) size can be cut down to a custom dimension; be sure to specify to “hold to overall dimension.” Custom board sizes can be specified for additional cost. Ask your PolyVision representative for details for your specific project.

Fabric Tack Boards
PolyVision’s Fabrics are extremely durable and cost efficient tackable surfaces. Available in six decorative colors, our Fabrics are a practical choice as they offer both noise absorption and flame resistance. They are lightweight, easy to install, and require little to no maintenance. Special fabrics may be purchased, and Customer’s own materials (COM) may be applied. Consult your PolyVision representative for details on your specific project.

Colored Cork Tack Boards

PolyVision Colored Cork is comprised of premium, linoleum grade, natural cork that is colored throughout. This economical tackboard material is self-healing so it will remain pliable under harsh conditions. Our Colored Cork tackable surfaces are for any indoor application where the following features are required:

• Where low life-cycle cost, decorative and durable bulletin boards are required (in schools, clubs, business, etc).
• As a tackable surface for use on decorative or functional walls (kindergartens, schools, meeting rooms, hospitals, etc.)
• As a decorative finish to movable partitions, furniture, doors, cupboards, etc.

Washable Finish
The Colored Cork linoleum surface provides for a washable finish to retain original appearance. The surface can be wiped or washed using any common pH neutral cleaning method (pH 7-8.5). Simply rinse with water after cleaning.

Dimensional Stability
Due to the natural jute backing providing a strong durable foundation, the product is dimensionally stable in all directions when properly installed. It resists cracking, drying, and peeling.

Self-Healing
Ability to self-heal from thumbtack and pin punctures. Does not dry out, crack peel, or crumble. Tacks can be inserted easily and are gripped firmly.

Light Reflection
Colored Cork comes in matte colors so that annoying reflection caused by sun or artificial light is reduced.

Resistance To Bacteria
Provides a self-sanitizing quality in the form of a bactericidal effect. Recent tests suggest that bulletin board has a sterile zone around the material inhibiting contaminants such as staphylococcus aureus.

Stock Sheets Are Available In:
4’,6’,8’,9’,10’ and 12’ x 48”. (Select stock colors are also available in 72”)

Full Rolls:
Lengths of rolls are approximately 90 linear feet. All rolls are figured on the basis of full 4’ heights.

 

Natural Cork Tackboards

PolyVision’s natural cork is comprised of premium quality, pure grain, farmed cork. It is a cost efficient, self-healing tackboard material that will remain pliable indefinitely. Its smooth, resilient surface allows push-pins, tacks, or staples to be easily inserted, yet still hold firmly. Natural Cork is available in 1/8” or 1/4” thickness.

Is Your Specification Correct? Understanding the Tackable Surface...
The natural cork tackable surface has two available options: 1/8” cork available on 3/8” fiberboard or 1/4” cork on a 1/4” hardboard. The typical push pin stab is 3/8” long. For best results, we recommend 1/8” cork on 3/8” fiberboard backing. Available in: 4’, 6’, 8’, 9’, 10’, and 12’ x 48” panels. Please ask your PolyVision representative about specific ordering for your project.

 

Vinyl Tack Boards

PolyVision’s vinyl tackboards are the ideal solution for any office or educational environment and are resilient, tough tackboards that stand up to long wear. All of our Vinyl Tackboards consist of a pliable vinyl embossed surface, laminated to fiberboard or cork with a special adhesive. Any watermarks made by glue, crayon, or similar materials can be removed with water and mild detergent. Our tackboards meet the federal specification of G.S.A. Available in widths of 54”. There are two available Vinyls for your PolyVision Vinyl tackboard: Vinyl Type I – Weave Available in nine colors to match any decor or environment. Vinyl Type II – Linen Available in twenty colors for your specific design or interior requirement.

Tackable Wall Panels – PolyVision’s TWP System

This dynamic new approach in tackable wall surfaces is designed to maximize total wall space, from floor to ceiling. Tackable wall surfaces have no exposed trim or fastening devices, and enable maximum use of all space and enhance the environment with rich textures and colors in a variety of factory-applied coverings. Imagine an instructor’s ease at being able to display large-sized diagrams or multiple illustrations, all on one wall. This practical, efficient means of utilizing wall space truly demonstrates versatility and ingenuity.
