How does the TS Series interactive whiteboard work?
The TS Series interactive whiteboard’s durable touch-sensitive screen uses resistive sensor technology to “feel” the location of your pen or an eraser, similar to the way a personal data assistant functions. PLEASE NOTE: The surface of the TS Series interactive whiteboard is designed for contact only with whiteboard markers and soft erasers. Do not use ball point pens, hard pointers or other devices that may cause a crease or scratch in the surface of the whiteboard. This may render the board inoperative and is not covered by the warranty.
How does the TS Series interactive whiteboard communicate with a computer?
The TS Series interactive whiteboard is connected to a computer by a cable. Depending on the model of whiteboard, it uses a either a standard USB or RS-232 serial cable to communicate with the computer. Some models also have wireless options that eliminate the need for cables to connect the whiteboard to a computer.

What file format does the TS Series interactive whiteboard use? Can I export the data to other applications?
The TS Series interactive whiteboard saves information as an image, which can be exported to multiple formats: JPG, BMP, TIFF, WMF, HTML, PDF, PCT, MacPaint, PSD, PNG, QuickTime Image and TG. To export files, you can use the use “export” command (to save the file on a disk) or drag-and-drop the snapshot to the desktop or to a different application.
What is the resolution of the TS Series interactive whiteboard?
The TS Series interactive whiteboard has a resolution of 8,000 points horizontally by 8,000 points vertically—for capturing picture-perfect handwriting at any size.
Is TS Series interactive whiteboard Macintosh compatible?
Yes, we have Macintosh software available that supports both the PowerPC and Intel platforms. It is shipped on the CD-ROM, or you can download it from our website.
What operating systems does the Webster software support?
The Webster software works with Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP, Vista, and Macintosh OS 10.2 and newer. Newer operating systems are usually supported, and regular updates are released. Updated software is available for free download on our website.
Can I extend the cables that connect my computer to the TS Series interactive whiteboard?
For models that use serial cable connections, the maximum length supported is 25 feet. If a longer distance is required we recommend using line drivers. For models that use USB connections, the maximum length of a USB cable is 15 feet. Active USB extender cables, available in most office supply stores, can extend the length up to 1,000 feet. Contact our technical support for specific questions.
Will the TS Series interactive whiteboard work on UNIX or Linux?
At this time, the TS Series interactive whiteboard does not support the UNIX or Linux platform. For those wishing to get API information for developing a UNIX filter or driver, please contact us.
Does the TS Series interactive whiteboard come in multiple sizes?

Can the TS Series interactive whiteboard snapshots be displayed back on the whiteboard?
Yes. With an LCD projector, your captured images can be projected onto the whiteboard. It is not possible without a projector.
Why do I get two lines when annotating in projection mode?
When annotating in projection mode, use the plastic stylus or your finger (instead of the marker) to annotate. The projected stroke will display in place of the dry-erase marker, and eliminates the double line.
How many TS Series interactive whiteboards can be connected to one computer?
Provided you have enough available ports on your computer, you can link up to four interactive whiteboards to expand the writing surface. However, you must have one video card for each interactive whiteboard you intend to project on.
My computer makes a clicking sound when I write on the TS Series interactive whiteboard. How do I turn this sound off?
The TS Series interactive whiteboard software defaults to providing audible feedback when using the whiteboard, including sounds for startup and shutdown, changing a tool (i.e., switching from pen to eraser), using the erase function, and touching or writing on the board. You may change the sounds associated with each function or turn off the sounds completely. To change sound settings, click on the “Edit” menu and select “Options.” Under this menu, select the “Sounds” tab and make the desired changes. Refer to the manual for additional information.
